Fred Stumpf and Christy Denison successfully appealed a trial court decision holding that the Firm’s Nevada client was subject to jurisdiction in Texas in a suit involving employment and ownership issues in a Lexus dealership in Las Vegas.

In representing an apartment developer/owner in a claim against the original roofer for defective installation of the apartment building roofs, Clayton Cannon won an arbitration award of over $385,000.00 for his client.

Clayton Cannon obtained a defense verdict on behalf of an industrial manufacturing company accused of selling a product without adequate warnings. The plaintiff, one of the largest cement producers in the U.S., was seeking close to $4 million in damages. The jury found that the plaintiff was the sole cause of the accident and was awarded no damages.

Hank Fasthoff prevailed in the plaintiff's appeal of the trial court's decision granting summary judgment to Beyoncé in a copyright infringement case involving the Grammy Award-winning song "Baby Boy." The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the district court's decision in all respects.
